Rapid City FC Flows Into First Place

North Olmsted, OH – On Saturday, February 25, 2023, Rapid City Football Club (RCFC) defeated the Cleveland Crunch on the road in their final matchup of the regular season in the Major League Indoor Soccer (MLIS) Eastern Division. Rapid City won in overtime in a golden goal scenario. The final score was RCFC 8 - CC 7. This significant win allowed RCFC to take control of the division heading into the playoff season.

• “Man of the Match” Elmedin Zukic scored a hat trick including the game-winning golden goal in overtime. He also had 2 assists.
• Chris Mendez also had a hat trick for the game.
• Giuseppe Barone had 3 assists.
• Nermin Crnkic scored 1 goal and had 1 assist.
• Jair Real scored 1 goal.
• The final score: Rapid City Football Club (8) – Cleveland Crunch (7)

Rapid City closed out their double header weekend with a win over the Detroit Waza Flo on Sunday with a score of RCFC 11 - DWF 4.

RCFC will play the Cincinnati Swerve back-to-back in March. The first match will be in Ohio on March 12th and the second at home (MSA Sports Spot) on March 17th.
